President Mwai Kibaki (right) with Chairman of the Nakumatt/Molo Fire Victims fund Mr. Naushad Merali during a fundraiser at Kenyatta International Conference Centre in Nairobi, February 19th, 2009. The funds drive was in aid of the people who perished in fire tragedies in both Nakumatt and of Sachangwan recently. Sameer Group of companies gave more than Sh15 million, with more than Sh80.7 million was raised during the ceremony.
