June 29, 1971: President Jomo Kenyatta bids farewell to the outgoing Provost of All Saints’ Cathedral, the very Rev. Raymond Harries. Rev. Harries was returning to Britain after being in Kenya for ten years. Here, President Kenyatta receives Rev. Harries and his wife at State House, Nairobi during the occasion. Looking on is then Kenya’s Attorney-General, Mr. Charles Njonjo.
