July 29, 1970: President Jomo Kenyatta lays the foundation stone for new headquarters of the Kenya Breweries at Ruaraka, Nairobi. The building was included in a five-year expansion programme involving a total expenditure of more than £8 million. Here, President Kenyatta lays the foundation stone for a new headquarters for Kenya Breweries at Ruaraka on July 29, 1970. Also, in the picture from right, are Sir Michal Blundell, Chairman of Kenya Breweries, Mr. Daniel Moi, the Vice-President and Mr. B. H. Hobson, Managing Director of EA Breweries.
